La technologie « Fingerprint » qui permet d’ouvrir la session de son ordinateur uniquement avec une empreinte digitale est nettement amélioré avec l’arrivée de Windows 8.1.
Lors des TechED 2013 de cette année, Microsoft à présenté au cours d’une démonstration la nouvelle méthode d’identification avec son empreinte digitale. La démo nous présente comment vous pouvez vous identifier uniquement avec le doigt. Il est maintenant possible d’attribuer son empreinte à une session pour être automatiquement identifié à sa session sans avoir à en choisir une.
Vous identifier en « un coup de doigt », cette méthode serait maintenant beaucoup plus rapide qu’en saisissant son mot de passe.
Ce n’est évidemment pas la seul amélioration… Avec Windows 8.1, Microsoft nous permettra de sécuriser l’ouverture d’une application via la solution d’authentification par empreinte digitale.
