Les panoramas seront basés sur la technologie Photosynth (http://photosynth.net).
Le service Photosynth permet actuellement pour un utilisateur, de prendre une photo 360° depuis un point en utilisant une application disponible sur iOS et Windows Phone. L’application support l’upload vers le site Photosynth, ce qui nous confirme que Skydrive.com deviendrai logiquement le nouveau support de stockage pour les panoramas 3D.
Nous pouvons attendre cette nouveauté pour la fin d’année 2013, puisque c’est à cette période que Microsoft a prévu de sortir la nouvelle version Windows 8.1.
Nous connaissons tous la proximité existante aujourd’hui entre les supports Microsoft, que se soit Windows, Windows Phone ou bien même les services Online. Après Windows 8.1 et maintenant Skydrive.com, cette nouvelle technologie verra surement le jour prochainement sur les supports mobiles Windows Phone.
